I am Fred Barros, married to Fernanda, father of three children and grandfather of three granddaughters and one grandson.

Shepherd of VIDA RIO, an exciting and growing church in Rio de Janeiro. Since 1988, I have dedicated myself entirely to the dream of seeing people of all generations know God and experience His love.

I love dedicating myself to relevant and joy-filled preaching, which I have had the opportunity to share in many countries on 5 continents.

In 2014, I founded IRIS GLOBAL SCHOOL RIO, a mission school that has so far welcomed 730 students from 45 countries.
For many years, I have dedicated myself to missions in Africa and in countries with great needs.

I have 7 books published: The Challenge of Fatherhood; A River Called Jordan; Canoe in the Wind; Angels on the Border; David, the Man God Found; The Sea, the Redeemer and the Rock; and Diary of a Missionary at War.
